In ever you have high thyroid levels this could be the reason for your panic attacks and you could stop panic attack occurrence with the medication that regulates your thyroid gland.

What you can do here is to either distract yourself when the panic attack mounts or to resort to meditation. You should think about positive experiences such as pleasant smells, sounds, feelings or visuals and force yourself to focus on the pleasant feedback so that it overlaps and negates the symptoms of the panic attack. This is an extremely effective technique though it takes some time to master.
